Jockey nurtures young talent with the second edition of the Jockey Juniors Colour Splash Contest

National, 3rd April 2025: Jockey, the brand known for innerwear, sleepwear, and athleisure, is inspiring creativity in young artists with the Jockey Juniors Times NIE Colour Splash campaign. A celebration of artistic talent among children aged 6 to 12 years, the campaign is an initiative to nurture their creativity and imagination. It was held in two phases, which included an online contest around the theme ‘My Happy Place’, which saw almost 11,000 entries, and offline competitions which saw 4,000 students from nearly 1200 schools bring their creativity to the canvas. The offline phase also included sessions on nutrition & diet by experts who provided useful insights on lifestyle and health for parents attending the event.

As part of the initiative, Jockey recently held a Virtual Meet & Greet event with the aim to strengthen the bond between the brand, participants, and their families while inspiring them to further explore their artistic talents. The event included an interactive online session where selected winners and participants of the ‘My Happy Place’ online contest had the opportunity to interact with Dr. Jija M Harisingh, the first woman IPS officer from South India, renowned artist, and social activist, celebrated for her efforts in curating shows and supporting emerging artists. The session featured a lively discussion on art, creative expression, and their impact on life.

Held in six major Indian cities, namely Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad across two age categories (the sub-junior category for children aged between 6 to 9 years and the juniors’ category for children aged between 10 to 12 years), the campaign commenced in September 2024 and concluded by December 2024. Winners from each city, Naira Poddar  from Bangalore, Aashka Goyal from Delhi, Heer Gala from Mumbai, Krisha from Hyderabad, Arka Roy from Kolkata, and S.Thiyakshwa from Chennai, were presented with personalized Jockey T-shirts featuring their artwork at special ceremonies held at designated Jockey exclusive stores.

Commenting on the initiative, Nihal Rajan, Chief Marketing Officer, Page Industries said, “As a brand, we are delighted to collaborate with Times NIE for the second edition of the Colour Splash Campaign. We believe that creativity is the soul of several aspects of life and art is a powerful medium to channel the same. This year’s theme “My Happy Place” captures the essence of the Jockey Juniors collection, which stands for confidence, playfulness, and a celebration of self-expression. This campaign provides India’s young talent a platform to bring the best of their creations to canvas to build a strong bond with kids and parents. The initiative also aligns with our core values of freedom, innovation, and creativity, reflected in our vibrant offerings in innerwear and leisurewear.”

Dedicated to excellence in quality, comfort, and style, Jockey’s core philosophy extends to its Juniors category as well, where offerings include a lively and vibrant range of innerwear, outwear, thermals, and socks for boys and girls aged between 3 to 12 years. Designed to provide a perfect balance of comfort and style, Jockey Juniors helps kids move confidently while embracing their playful spirit.
