French-Based Couple Achieves Parenthood in Rajasthan After Nine Unsuccessful IVF Cycles Overseas

French-Based Couple Achieves Parenthood in Rajasthan After Nine Unsuccessful IVF Cycles Overseas

Rajasthan, 15 December 2025: In a remarkable case, a 37-year-old woman and her 39-year-old husband from France, who had faced nine unsuccessful IVF cycles in their home country, finally realised their dream of parenthood through fertility treatment at Indira IVF Alwar, Rajasthan under the care of Dr Charu Johari, Infertility Specialist and Executive Director.

Married for ten years and resident in France for the past eight, the couple had been struggling with infertility for nearly a decade. Following repeated IVF failures abroad, they sought a fresh evaluation and a tailored treatment plan at Indira IVF Alwar, Rajasthan.

Dr Charu Johari said, “After nine failed IVF cycles, the priority was to identify what had been missed earlier and plan a more structured approach to improve embryo quality and implantation potential. As part of this, we carried out a detailed round of investigations including Couple Karyotype, TNF Alpha, and NK Cell tests to identify potential immunological or chromosomal factors affecting conception. We used a combination of diagnostic assessments and targeted treatment to create a personalised plan that addressed the couple’s specific needs.”

Following this, the woman’s uterus was found to be normal. However, given her age and the associated decline in egg quality, the likelihood of chromosomal abnormalities such as Down syndrome was higher. To address this, Pre-Genetic Screening (PGS) was planned to select genetically healthy embryos. Both partners’ Karyotype results were normal, and Lymphocyte Immune Therapy (LIT) was administered to enhance implantation. Semen samples were also cryopreserved for use during the IVF procedure.

With this personalised approach and diagnostic guidance, the couple conceived and now have an ongoing singleton pregnancy of more than 13 weeks.

This case highlights how personalised treatment, diagnostic testing, and careful evaluation can offer renewed hope to couples who have faced multiple IVF failures, helping them move closer to parenthood.
