Fortis’s wholly-owned subsidiary, International Hospital Limited, has signed definitive agreements to acquire TMI Healthcare Private Limited, which operates PeopleTree Hospital Yeshwanthpur.

Strategic Hospital Asset
The NABH-accredited multi-specialty hospital is strategically located in North-West Bengaluru, serving a dense residential area with expanding commercial hubs and excellent connectivity. Key specialties include Cardiac Sciences, Orthopedics, NeuroSciences, Renal Sciences, and Gastroenterology.

This acquisition strengthens Fortis Healthcare’s presence in Bengaluru, where it currently operates seven facilities. The company aims to scale its total bed capacity from 900 to 1,500, leveraging operational synergies and cluster-focused expansion.
