Udaipur Airport Gets a Boost with Uber and AAI Collaborating for Seamless Travel
Udaipur, Rajasthan 07th August, 2024 – Uber, the leading ride-hailing app in India, today announced its partnership with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) at Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur. This initiative is designed to enhance the travel experience for passengers travelling to and from the majestic city of Udaipur, known for its stunning lakes and royal palaces, by offering hassle-free, efficient and convenient transportation options.
As Udaipur Airport experiences a significant surge in passenger traffic, with a remarkable annual traffic of 1.5 million people, a 29% increase in air traffic in the last fiscal year, Uber and AAI have joined forces to ensure a seamless and stress-free journey for travelers. Building on the momentum of the April 2023 MoU, this partnership marks the latest milestone in Uber’s expansion across AAI airports, with Udaipur joining the list of 15 airports already benefiting from efficient and reliable transportation solutions.

As part of the collaboration with AAI at Udaipur Airport, Uber will set up dedicated pickup zones at the arrival terminal, complemented by on-ground assistance and step by step wayfinding guide – assisting riders on their way from the gate all the way to the Uber pickup zones. This partnership is expected to generate more trip opportunities for drivers at the airport, increasing their earning potential. By streamlining the pickup process and providing a seamless experience, Uber aims to make travel to and from Udaipur Airport more efficient and enjoyable for both riders and drivers alike.
