Suzlon becomes first Indian wind energy company to reach 20 GW* of worldwide Wind Energy installations
Pune, India June 13th , 2023 – Suzlon Group, India’s largest renewable energy solutions provider, proudly announced that it has surpassed the remarkable milestone of 20 GW of wind energy installations. With 12,647 wind turbines spread across 17 countries on six continents, Suzlon solidifies its position as a significant player in the global wind energy landscape. Notably, Suzlon’s share accounts for 33% of India’s cumulative wind energy installations.
The impact of Suzlon’s 20 GW wind energy installations is substantial, generating enough green electricity to power over 13 million Indian households and preventing approximately 51.35 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
