JMI’s Child Guidance Centre celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities
International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated on 3rd December 2022 all over the world. Jamia Millia Islamia’s Child Guidance Centre (CGC) under the aegis of Dr. Zakir Husain Memorial Welfare Society celebrated International Day of Persons with Disabilities, on 2nd December 2022 within its premises under the supervision of Prof. Sara Begum, General Secretary of the Society. She welcomed the guests, parents, and explained about the importance of this day.
The theme for IDPD 2022 is “Transformative Solution for Inclusive Development: the role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable world”.
Children of CGC,JMI performed – skit, singing, and yoga. Shikhar Organisation distributed refreshments to the children.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Saba Ayyub Project Director, Child Guidance Centre.
