Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles kicks-off 2023 with a splash; Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster get new colourways
Pune, January 30th, 2023: Beginning the year on a colourful note and setting the tone for an exciting year ahead, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced new colours across two of its highest selling models – The Jawa 42 Sports Stripe and Yezdi Roadster. The Jawa 42 Sports Stripe gets a dynamic shade of metallic Cosmic Carbon while a striking Crimson Dual Tone in gloss finish has been added to the Yezdi Roadster Range.
The Jawa 42 Sports Stripe Cosmic Carbon draws inspiration from the element that is the very source of life itself. Its stunning carbon fiber finish sport stripe is an ode to nature’s purest element. It signifies Carbon’s duality of complexity hidden within simplicity, which forms something strong yet agile, powerful yet nimble.
The Yezdi Roadster Crimson Dual Tone adds a different dimension to the model’s dominating demeanor. In a world of either/or, this dual tone finish is for the select few who want it all without having to make a choice.
The Jawa 42 Cosmic Carbon is priced at INR 1,95,142, while the Yezdi Roadster Crimson Dual Tone will cost INR 2,03,829; both prices ex-showroom, Delhi.

On the powertrain front, both the motorcycles come equipped with engines with class leading technology and performance. The Yezdi Roadster gets a liquid-cooled, fuel injected, DOHC single-cylinder engine displacing 334cc, delivering a peak power of 29.7PS & peak torque of 28.95Nm. The Jawa 42 2.1 sports a 294.72cc engine in a similar configuration that delivers peak power of 27.32PS & peak torque of 26.84Nm. Both motorcycles come with a slick-shifting six-speed transmission, with the Yezdi Roadster getting an A&S clutch. With this package housed in a chassis precision tuned for handling & comfort and fortified with best-in-class brakes with dual channel ABS by Continental, both these motorcycles pack in the punch to deliver ear-to-ear grins all day, every day.
Network expansion has always been a priority for Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles and the company has been rapidly increasing its footprint to reach out to its customers. The company currently has nearly 400 touchpoints across India and plans to reach 500 outlets by the end of this calendar year.
