ITDC organizes Hindi Kavi Goshthi, Cultural Program, and Rajbhasha award distribution ceremony

 ITDC organizes Hindi Kavi Goshthi, Cultural Program, and Rajbhasha award distribution ceremony

India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the public sector undertaking under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism hosted a Rajbhasha Award Distribution Ceremony 2022 along with a cultural program and Hindi Kavi-Goshthi. The ceremony was organized at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi.

The ceremony was attended by Shri G. Kamalavardhan Rao, IAS & Managing Director, ITDC. He felicitated the participants and also shared his experience and the importance of understanding Hindi as well as the regional languages. Further, Mr. Rao encouraged the employees of ITDC to communicate and promote the official language, Hindi.

The event’s main aim was to highlight the social colors and diversity of the Indian culture. Several acts like Rajasthani folk dance, satirical short drama and Kali Kavithum (Bharatnatyam), were also staged by the participants. A total of 103 employees of ITDC Headquarters along with the employees of The Ashok and Samrat Hotel were recognized during the event. Further, ITDC also invited Mr. Deepak Gupta, Ms. Shubham Tyagi and Mr. Chirag Jain, nationally and internationally renowned poets, for the Kavi-Goshthi session.
