IBBI Chairman Ravi Mital Launches Website of IICA PGIP Programme
The Chairman of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), Shri Ravi Mital, on Monday inaugurated the Post Graduate Insolvency Programme (PGIP) of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) while presiding as the Chief Guest at an event held on the campus.
Addressing the students, the IBBI Chairman assured them of strong institutional support and announced that efforts would be made to provide one-year internship opportunities at IBBI for a few selected PGIP students.
He further stated that students interested in research activities may apply for the upcoming IBBI Research Programme, and upon selection, they would have the opportunity to be included in the panel of IBBI scholars.
During the website launch event, the welcome address was delivered by Shri Gyaneshwar Kumar Singh, Director General and CEO of IICA. He highlighted the institute’s commitment to capacity building, academic excellence, and close engagement with regulators and industry.
On the occasion, Shri Sudhakar Shukla, Head of the Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy at IICA, presented a brief overview of the activities and achievements of the PGIP Centre, outlining its academic rigour, industry linkages, and the growing alumni network.
The website is a dedicated digital platform designed to connect PGIP alumni with current students. Through active alumni engagement, it will facilitate continuous interaction, knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and stronger industry connect for students.
During an interactive session, students expressed their gratitude for the support provided by IICA. They highlighted opportunities to participate in conferences and seminars and engage in meaningful interactions with industry experts, which have significantly enriched their academic and professional journey.
