Additionally, the resort emphasizes sustainability with in-house sewage treatment plants (STPs) along with other initiatives. The resort has recently installed a 70 KLD STP plant, allowing it to generate 370 KLD of recycled water each month for flushing, irrigation, cooling towers, and washing. This saves an equivalent amount of groundwater and helps in the fight against global warming. Committed to achieving zero carbon emissions, the resort produces 24,500 kWh of electricity monthly from a 180 KWP on-grid solar system. Waterless urinals have been installed in public restrooms. All lights in public areas and guest room washrooms have been converted to LED and are controlled by motion sensors. Water taps in these areas are equipped with flow restrictors and water conditioners. Guest room lights and air conditioners are managed by key cards. The resort collects and uses rainwater with a capacity of 200KL at a time and recharges the groundwater through a rainwater harvesting pit with a 100 KL capacity.
