Sterlite Power Drives Healthcare Transformation in Rural Rajasthan
Jaipur, 23rd December 2024: Sterlite Power, a leading global power transmission company, unveiled a transformative healthcare initiative under its Corporate Social Responsibility program. This initiative is designed to improve access to emergency medical services and increase awareness about medical emergencies in rural and underserved areas.
In collaboration with Kalpataru Projects International Limited and Wockhardt Hospital, Sterlite Power has unveiled a fully equipped ambulance for its FB3TL and BTL project regions in Rajasthan. This initiative aims to deliver enhanced healthcare services to 20 villages across the Bilara and Beawar districts, significantly improving the well-being of local communities.
The ambulance will operate for six hours daily, offering free consultations with an MBBS doctor, pathology testing, and essential medications. Residents will benefit from complimentary diagnostic tests for conditions such as blood pressure, blood sugar, HbA1c, dengue, and malaria, with quick access to test results to ensure timely medical intervention. The initiative is expected to serve around 70 patients daily, bridging critical gaps in healthcare infrastructure in these areas.
