Jaipur, October 15th, 2023: The day 2 of the SFA Championships in Jaipur unfolded with an array of impressive sporting talent pool as young athletes excelled in basketball, football, squash, table tennis, and volleyball. The day witnessed skilled sports enthusiasts from various schools, competing at the iconic Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

The second day of the Championships kicked-off with some high-spirited basketball action. Young athletes competing in the U-11 to U-14 categories left a lasting impression as they demonstrated their basketball skills. The courts were buzzing with energy, and spectators were amazed by the enthusiasm and skill on display, setting the stage for even more excitement in the days to come. Cambridge Court World School is currently on top of the leaderboard with 111 points followed by Jayshree Periwal Global School and SS International School.

Table tennis enthusiasts had their share of excitement as the participants competed in Boys U-10 to U-17 and Girls U-12 to U-17 categories, and their fierce rally added to the day’s excitement. The Girls U-17 category celebrated the victory of Pareek from The Palace School, while in the Boys U-17 category Pranav Sharma from St. Anselms North City School clinched the gold medal. These young athletes exhibited commendable sporting skills.

Following the exhilarating basketball matches, skating took the center stage as young skaters competed across age categories from U-7 to U-11. Vihan Khatri won the gold medal in Boys U-7 400m inline while Ananya Khicher clinched gold in Girls U-11 200m inline. Volleyball also featured prominently in the day’s events, with teams showcasing their skills and teamwork.

Day 3 is set to witness the commencement of Athletics, Badminton, Football (U10 and U12), Kabaddi, and Tennis. The city’s youth are gearing up to create memorable moments, ensuring that each day is filled with boundless enthusiasm and extraordinary athletic performances.
