PM Modi Sworn in for Historic Third Term Alongside 72 Ministers

Narendra Modi was sworn in for a third consecutive term as Prime Minister on Sunday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, along with 72 ministers. This achievement matches the record of Jawaharlal Nehru, who also served three consecutive terms as India’s first Prime Minister.

Despite the BJP losing its outright majority in the Lok Sabha after a closely contested election, PM Modi will lead a coalition government for the first time in his tenure.
