Moneyboxx Finance organizes food distribution drive to celebrate World Food Day

National, October 19, 2022: Moneyboxx Finance Limited – a BSE-listed NBFC that provides small-ticket business loans to micro and small enterprises, celebrates World Food Day by providing access to nutritious food to people of tier-3 cities and below. As a part of the drive, over 400 people were provided with healthy food, following the recent opening of its branch in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan.

Moneyboxx aimed to celebrate this day to raise awareness about healthy, wholesome, nutritious food that addresses one of the most basic human needs. The company did a 2-day campaign ensuring that balanced rich food is accessible to all. The company has also recently planted 1,600 trees across Hisar, Kaithal and Naraingarh region in Haryana, in association with its execution partner Green Ananda. Uptil now, Moneyboxx has transformed the lives of more than 35,000 borrowers with cumulative disbursements of over INR 270 crores up to Aug ’22. 

Commenting on the initiative aligned with World Food Day, Mr. Mayur Modi, Co-founder Moneyboxx Finance Ltd said, “As part of this food distribution campaign we are happy that we went that extra-mile to provide nutritious food to everyone in the district. We also wanted to create and drive awareness about the importance of healthy food and help them people make nutritious food choices.  This initiative is one small step on our part towards addressing the larger issue of hunger in the country. We are also aiming to reach out to more and more people who seek loans in tier-3 cities and below.”

Moneyboxx has a total of 47 branch networks across five states – Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. The company plans to strengthen its presence and expand its customer reach by increasing its branch network to 60 and building AUM of over INR 400 crores by FY23.
