AIR INDIA EXPANDS CONNECTIVITY TO RAJASTHAN WITH ADDITIONAL FLIGHTS THIS WINTER
Ajmer, 17 October 2025: Air India today announced boosting connectivity to Rajasthan as part of its Northern Winter Schedule 2025, with new routes and increased frequency on key routes connecting Rajasthan to Delhi and Mumbai.
Effective 26 October 2025, Air India will operate 124 additional weekly flights to and from Rajasthan this Winter to meet the growing travel demand to the state for tourism, weddings, meetings & conferences, and trade.
These additional flights supplement Air India’s current schedule of 136 weekly flights to and from Rajasthan, thus taking the total count of flights to 260 flights each week to and from the state. Air India currently operates flights to and from Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur, and connects these cities non-stop to Delhi and/or Mumbai.
New, seasonal routes
From 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026, Air India will operate twice-daily flights between Delhi and Jaisalmer, and thrice-daily flights between Delhi and Jaipur. These new flights provide travellers the only full-service flying option on these routes, complementing the luxury-focused travel itineraries of tourists from across India and around the world.
Additional frequency on other Rajasthan routes
Air India will also operate additional flights on other existing Rajasthan routes to meet the high seasonal demand. The airline will increase frequency on the following routes:
- Delhi-Udaipur: Increasing from 2x to 3x daily flights
- Mumbai-Jaipur: Increasing from 3x to 4x daily flights
- Mumbai-Udaipur: Increasing from 3x to 4x daily flights
- Mumbai-Jodhpur: Increasing from 1x to 2x daily flights
Convenient connections to and from international destinations
Air India flights to Rajasthan are timed to enable convenient connections to/from Europe (including the UK), North America, as well as several other international destinations. This enables seamless travel experiences via Delhi and Mumbai for inbound foreign tourists visiting Rajasthan as well as for residents of Rajasthan travelling outside of India.
New or upgraded cabin interiors
Air India’s retrofit programme for its legacy Airbus A320neo aircraft, launched in September 2024, is nearing completion this month. Of the 27 legacy A320neo aircraft, 26 have been retrofitted with brand-new cabin interiors featuring three classes: Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class. Combined with other modern single-aisle aircraft, Air India now operates over 100 A320 Family aircraft with world-class cabin interiors, delivering a significantly enhanced travel experience on more than 80 domestic and short-haul international routes, including flights to and from Rajasthan.
